Thousands of Iranians Mourn Students Killed in School Attack

Thousands of Iranians took to the streets to mourn the loss caused by an attack on a school in southern Iran, allegedly by the United States and Israel, resulting in more than 160 deaths.

A funeral was held to honor the students and victims of the attack on schools in Minab city, southern Iran, carried out by forces from the United States and Israel, leaving over 160 dead.

Reporters stated that about 1,000 Iranians marched in the streets to pay respects to the loss, with the bodies of the deceased placed in coffins draped with the Iranian flag and paraded through crowds offering prayers.

This memorial event took place on 4 Mar 2026 at the central square of Minab city. Attendees expressed that the loss of over 160 innocent lives at once was not the “aid” President Trump had claimed, but rather a cold-blooded crime.

The Iranian president declared the school attack to be extremely brutal and described it as one of many crimes committed by violent perpetrators.

The United States responded, stating they had no intention to target civilians or schools, emphasizing their commitment to protecting innocent civilians in the country and promising to review and reduce risks to civilians in the future.
