The President of Iran announced three main conditions to end the war, stating that Iran's rights must be recognized, war damages compensated, and there must be international guarantees that no further attacks will occur.
On 11 March 2026, Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, issued a statement saying that the war was triggered by the Zionist regime and the United States. He said the only way to end the conflict requires three key conditions: recognition of Iran's legitimate rights, compensation for war damages, and assurances from the international community that no further aggression will happen in the future.
At the same time, the Iranian president reaffirmed his position during talks with the leaders of Russia and Pakistan, stating that the Iranian government remains committed to regional peace but that ending the conflict will only be possible if Iran's rights are clearly recognized.
This statement comes amid intensified diplomatic efforts to control the rising tensions in the region. Russia continues close communication with Iran's leadership and has called on all parties to cease fighting and de-escalate the situation.
