Multiple Explosions Rock Tehran, Three Iranian Red Crescent Officials Injured

Several loud explosions were heard multiple times in Tehran, the capital of Iran, on Friday morning. State media reported that the blasts took place across various parts of the city, injuring at least three Iranian Red Crescent officials.

Official media reported that the airstrikes occurred around 05:15 local time in eastern Tehran. Fars News Agency stated that the explosions were so powerful that many residents felt their homes shake, while Tasnim News Agency reported additional heavy blasts in the southern parts of the city.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society revealed that three of its relief workers were injured during the attack near a toll booth on the Tehran–Qom expressway, a major route from Tehran to the city of Qom.

Reports indicate that the Red Crescent's aid station in the area was damaged, and the three injured individuals were taken to a hospital.

One of the injured told state media that he heard fighter jets flying overhead before two simultaneous strikes occurred, followed by a third blast that knocked him to the ground with its shockwave.

There are currently no reports of fatalities from these explosions, though the situation in Tehran remains tense.
