The United States has announced bounties for several leaders and commanders of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including the new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. Meanwhile, senior Iranian officials continued to appear at the Quds Day event held in central Tehran despite an explosion near the rally site.
On 13 Mar 2026 GMT+7, the US State Department announced rewards up to $10 million, approximately 360 million baht, for information leading to the identification or capture of key leaders of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The announcement listed 10 individuals involved in commanding and controlling IRGC forces, though only six names were revealed. Among those mentioned were Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran's new Supreme Leader, and Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, who recently appeared at a pro-government rally in Tehran.
Iranian media released images and videos of several senior officials attending the annual Quds Day rally, which expresses support for Palestinians. Those appearing at the event included Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani, Police Commander Ahmad Reza Radan, and Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei.
One video clip shows Mohseni Ejei giving an interview to state television as an explosion is heard near the rally site. Another clip shows Pezeshkian greeting people and taking selfies with attendees on the street. A day earlier, Mojtaba Khamenei issued a statement urging citizens to participate in Quds Day activities to confront the country’s enemies amid ongoing Middle East tensions.
