On 19 Mar 2026, Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted a message onits official X account. The ministry revealed the name of the Thai worker killed in the Iranian attack as Walin Chayut, aged 33, and included a photo of him.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry's post stated, “Walin Chayut, a Thai national working in Israel, died in an Iranian missile strike... The Iranian government targeted civilians indiscriminately... May his memory be a blessing.”

Earlier, Israeli rescue unit Magen David Adom confirmed the discovery of one male fatality at the Adanim agricultural settlement in central Israel, which was hit by an Iranian missile attack on 18 March.

Israeli officials later confirmed that the victim was a Thai worker who died from severe injuries caused by metal shrapnel scattered throughout the attack site.

Israeli media reported that Iran used "cluster munitions" in the recent wave of attacks—these air-dispersed weapons spread bomblets over a wide area, making interception difficult and causing severe civilian damage.
