BTS Returns to Shake Seoul! 2,000 Drones Form Members Faces in Sky Ahead of Major Concert Today (Video)

BTS fans gathered to watch a spectacular drone show over central Seoul, where the drones formed images of all the band members' faces to celebrate the comeback album "ARIRANG" ahead of a major concert expected to attract over 260,000 viewers today.

About 2,000 drones took to the night sky over Seoul, South Korea, arranging themselves beautifully into the faces of BTS members amid cheers from hundreds of fans.

The drone light show took place last Friday at the Somhangang Tower Park by the Han River as part of fan events celebrating BTS's return with their new album.

Over 15 minutes, around 2,000 drones created various images and shapes in the air set to the band's new songs, including portraits of members, the album name, and the title track, while fans' phone flashes sparkled throughout the area.

Release of new album “ARIRANG” inspired by Korean folk songs

Earlier that day, BTS released their fifth full album titled "ARIRANG," inspired by centuries-old Korean folk songs considered a shared cultural symbol of both North and South Korea.

After a four-year performance hiatus, BTS is set to hold a grand comeback show on Saturday at Gwanghwamun Square, the historical and cultural heart of Seoul.

The concert is free to attend and is expected to draw up to 260,000 people. Besides ticket holders, large screens will be installed around the area so many fans can watch the show, all under strict security measures.
