Pakistan Offers to Host Talks Between US, Israel, and Iran

Pakistan has offered to host negotiations between the United States, Israel, and Iran after Tehran and Washington made conflicting statements about the talks.

On 23 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry spokesperson told CNN that their country is ready to host talks between the US, Israel, and Iran, just hours after Tehran denied claims that the US and Iran had begun negotiations over the past weekend.

“If both sides agree, Pakistan is always ready to host the talks,” said Tahir Hussain Andrabi, spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, on Monday.

Earlier, senior officials from Iran and the US issued conflicting statements regarding negotiations between the two countries in recent days, while the Middle East conflict, triggered by US strikes on Iran and Israel, entered its fourth week.

Iran's Foreign Ministry stated there were “no negotiations” between Tehran and Washington. Conversely, US President Donald Trump told CNN that discussions over the weekend had resulted in agreements on 15 points.

Meanwhile, sources said on Monday that so far, Iran and the US have mostly communicated through intermediaries from other countries, including Turkey and Egypt, in efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.
