"At the request of the Iranian government, let this statement serve as an announcement that I will suspend the period of destruction against energy production facilities for another 10 days, until Monday, 6 April 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET)."
"Negotiations are still underway, and despite misleading statements from fake news media and others claiming otherwise, the talks are progressing very well," the president said via the Truth Social platform.
The current 5-day suspension order is set to expire on Friday. The president's post came shortly after stock markets closed this afternoon local time.
