Pakistan to Host Four-Nation Foreign Ministers Meeting with Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia to Discuss U.S.-Iran Conflict

Pakistan has confirmed it is preparing to host a foreign ministers' meeting involving four nations—Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia—to discuss the Middle East situation and seek solutions to the conflict between the United States and Iran.

Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that Islamabad is preparing to host a four-party foreign ministers' meeting between Turkey, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia to discuss the region's escalating tensions.

The meeting is scheduled from Sunday to Monday, during which the foreign ministers of the three countries will travel to Islamabad to participate in official discussions.

A statement said the foreign ministers will engage in in-depth discussions on various issues, including efforts to reduce tensions in the region, which is a key focus.

This meeting comes amid the prolonged conflict between the United States and Iran, with one of the main agenda items being ways to de-escalate the situation's severity.

Previously, Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan disclosed that the meeting was originally planned to be held in Turkey but was moved to Pakistan instead.

During this crisis, Pakistan has drawn attention as an important diplomatic intermediary, playing a role in facilitating negotiations between the United States and Iran.

Reports indicate Pakistan acted as the deliverer of a 15-point peace plan proposed by the United States to Iran, reflecting the country's growing role on the international diplomatic stage.
