No Kings Protests Across the U.S. Oppose Donald Trump Millions Criticize Government Policies

Millions of Americans across the country gathered for the third major nationwide "No Kings" protest to show opposition to President Donald Trump's policies, including the Iran war, immigration crackdowns, and soaring living costs, while the White House dismissed the event as just a "Trump phobia therapy group."

International news agencies reported on the large-scale "No Kings" campaign protests held for the third time in many U.S. cities to oppose President Donald Trump's administration. Organizers stated that Trump is trying to rule the country like a tyrant and emphasized that sovereignty belongs to the people, not to "those in power."

At the protest in Washington, D.C., huge crowds gathered at the Lincoln Memorial and the National Mall, where effigies of Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance were burned, alongside calls for their impeachment and arrest.

In Minnesota, a key strategic location after immigration officers fatally shot two American citizens in January, legendary artist Bruce Springsteen took the stage to sing "Streets of Minneapolis" protesting official violence.

In New York City, Times Square and Midtown were shut down due to the overwhelming number of protesters. In the previous October protest, attendance had reached up to 100,000 people.

Since returning to the White House in January 2025, Trump has significantly expanded presidential powers through executive orders, including dissolving federal agencies, deploying the National Guard despite opposition from state governors, and directing the Department of Justice to prosecute political opponents.

A White House spokesperson responded to the protests by calling them merely a "Trump phobia therapy group," adding that only paid journalists showed interest. Trump himself told Fox News that he is not "Kings" and claimed his actions aim to restore a country in crisis.

The previous "No Kings" protest in October drew nearly 7 million participants nationwide, with many states deploying National Guard forces to maintain order, although organizers insisted the demonstrations were peaceful.

This "No Kings" protest has not only spread in major cities but also extended to smaller towns and American communities abroad in Paris, London, and Lisbon, where demonstrators held signs condemning U.S. leaders as "fascists" and "war criminals."
