Sensation! Tourists Flock to Photograph Golden Toilet in Washington, Satirizing Donald Trump

Americans are abuzz over a golden toilet sculpture in downtown Washington, D.C. after an artist installed this political satire work at the National Mall near the Lincoln Memorial, drawing many tourists to take photos.

The sculpture is designed as a "luxurious golden throne," but instead of a seat, it features a toilet bowl with a sign reading "A Throne Fit for a King," mocking U.S. leader Donald Trump.

The sign's message states that while the country faces conflict and economic problems, the leader focuses on renovating White House bathrooms, sarcastically calling it a vision that covers issues by painting them gold.

This piece is by the activist art group Secret Handshake, which has previously installed political artworks in the same area multiple times, aiming to critique government policies.

The area is lively with many tourists stopping to view the artwork and taking toilet paper placed as souvenirs, which is printed with the artists' group name.

Meanwhile, attention remains on Trump's White House renovation, especially the $400 million new ballroom construction project, which is pending approval from the federal planning authority.

If approved, the project could lead to significant changes to one of the United States' most important political landmarks.
