Trump Marks One Month of Iran War, Declares Victory and Destruction of Nuclear Capabilities

President Donald Trump marked the one-month anniversary of the military operation against Iran under "Epic Fury," declaring a historic success in the joint military campaign with Israel. He revealed that Iran’s navy and air force have collapsed and emphasized that the U.S. will never allow a dictatorial regime to possess nuclear weapons.

President Donald Trump delivered a 19-minute speech summarizing the situation one month after the launch of "Epic Fury," a large-scale military attack on Iran. Trump described this as a "decisive and overwhelming" victory unlike anything ever seen before.

Trump announced a major breakthrough, stating that Iran’s navy has been completely destroyed, its air force reduced to ruins, and that the leadership and control structures of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are being purged.

Trump said, "Never before in the history of war has an enemy been so thoroughly defeated and suffered such massive losses in just a few weeks."

He recalled the killing of Major General Qasem Soleimani early in his term and referred to the June 2025 "Midnight Hammer" operation, which obliterated Iran’s nuclear production sites to prevent what he called a "rogue and murderous regime" from accessing weapons of mass destruction.

Beyond Iran, Trump thanked the U.S. military for swiftly detaining Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, noting that the U.S. and Venezuela have now become "business partners," allowing the U.S. to no longer depend on Middle Eastern oil.

However, Trump sent a message to countries facing fuel shortages due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, urging them to "summon courage" and deploy forces to protect shipping lanes themselves or switch to buying oil from the U.S. instead.

Trump paid tribute to the 13 American soldiers who died in the conflict, stating he traveled to Dover Air Force Base to receive their remains and pledged to continue the mission in their honor.

In closing, Trump emphasized that the 32-day war is a "true investment" in the future of American children, aiming to free the world from threats of nuclear coercion and Iranian aggression. He concluded by saying that when the war ends, "the United States will be safer, stronger, wealthier, and greater than ever before."
