Iran's military has threatened to launch heavy attacks on the United States and Israel after Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that he would bomb Iran back to the Stone Age.
On Thursday (2 Apr 2026 GMT+7), Iran threatened to strike the U.S. and Israel "severely" and launched missiles at Tel Aviv after U.S. President Donald Trump declared his intent to bomb the Islamic Republic back to the Stone Age.
The Middle East war, which erupted over a month ago after U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran, has expanded across the region and severely impacted the global economy, affecting hundreds of millions worldwide.
Iran immediately fired retaliatory missiles, forcing Israel's air defense systems into heavy operation. Police inspected "multiple" targeted sites, with reports of four minor injuries in Tel Aviv.
Iran's military command center, Khatam Al-Anbiya, issued a statement on state television warning the U.S. and Israel to prepare for retaliation that will be "more intense, broader, and more destructive."
"With faith in the Almighty God, this war will continue until you face everlasting disgrace, shame, regret, and ultimately surrender," the statement declared.
Trump said the U.S. was "close to achieving" its goals but warned that attacks would intensify if Iran refused to negotiate for a resolution.
