The Iranian military warned the United States and Israel that the "gates of hell" will open to them if both countries continue attacking Iran's infrastructure.
On 4 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Iranian military officials warned the US and Israel that they would face punishment from the "abyss of hell" if the conflict escalates, using a threat similar in tone to that of US President Donald Trump.
This statement came after Trump threatened to unleash "all hell" on Iran if it did not agree to open the Strait of Hormuz by Monday.
Iranian government news agency Mehr reported on Saturday that Major General Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi, commander of the Central Command 'Quds Al-Anbiya' in Tehran, warned that the "gates of hell will open to welcome you" if Iran's infrastructure continues to be attacked.
"Remember, if the fighting escalates, this entire region will become hell for you. The delusion of defeating the Islamic Republic of Iran has become a quagmire that will drag you down," said Ebrahim Solfagari, spokesperson for the Central Command.
The Central Command 'Quds Al-Anbiya' serves as the main operational command center for all Iranian armed forces.
