Donald Trump declared a firm position, stating that the United States will continue to maintain its full military deployment around Iran until a complete agreement with Iran is reached.
Trump posted on the Truth Social platform late Wednesday, saying that U.S. warships, aircraft, weapons, and personnel will remain in place until the negotiations conclude.
He also issued a severe warning that if an agreement cannot be reached, even though the chance is very small, it could lead to a major military action, stating, "If no agreement is reached, the attacks will begin, larger and more intense than anyone has ever seen before."
At the same time, Trump emphasized a key condition that Iran must absolutely have no nuclear weapons, and that the strategic Strait of Hormuz must remain open and secure.
The talks between the United States and Iran are scheduled to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan, this Saturday.
Concluding his message, Trump said that the U.S. military is preparing and resting forces to be ready for the next mission, ending with the phrase, "America is back." (AMERICA IS BACK).
