Donald Trump said there are some targets in Iran that could still be attacked, including desalination plants, power grids, and various bridges. He also predicted that Iran would return to the negotiating table.
On 12 Apr 2026 GMT+7, U.S. President Donald Trump told Fox News that Iran's military infrastructure has been nearly "wiped out" during the more than 40 days of conflict with the U.S., but some targets remain that could be struck, including desalination plants, power grids, and bridges.
"We have really wiped out almost all of their country," the president said on the Fox News program Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo.
"The only thing really left is their water, and if that is attacked, it would cause severe damage," Trump said, adding that Iran still has "a few missile manufacturing plants left." He concluded, "We know the coordinates of every one... We have other targets as well."
The U.S. president also predicted that Iran would come back to the negotiating table and warned that he could wipe out Iran "in a single day."
"I predict they will come back, and they will give us everything we want," Trump said. "I want everything... They have no cards left to play."
Additionally, the president defended his earlier threat that "all civilization will be destroyed tonight and will never recover," claiming it was this statement that compelled Iran to negotiate.
"When I spoke about civilization, it truly changed the situation. It changed. Think about it—they were allowed to say, 'Death to America, death to this and that,'" Trump said. "But when I said one sentence, they said, 'Oh, this is a big deal.' That sentence brought them to the negotiating table, and they still haven't left."
Following the conclusion of U.S.-Iran talks in Pakistan without an agreement, Trump reiterated his previous threat to target Iran's energy infrastructure.
"I can wipe out Iran in one day," Trump stated. "Within an hour, I can destroy all their energy—everything, all their plants, their power stations—which is a big deal. And I don't want to do it because if I do, it would take 10 years to rebuild, and they will never be able to rebuild it. And another thing we will deal with is their bridges."
