Her family confirmed the sad news of Asha Bhosle’s passing, marking the true end of Bollywood’s golden musical era. With a career spanning over eight decades and more than 12,000 songs, she was acclaimed as the unmatched queen of playback singing.

Her distinctive voice brought life to film songs, while actors lip-synced to her singing, creating soundtracks that remain etched in the memories of multiple generations, ranging from lively tunes to beautiful love songs.
