US prosecutors revealed details of a case shaking the music world: "D4vd," a popular young singer, is accused of murdering and concealing the body of a 14-year-old girl, having purchased chainsaws, body bags, electric saws, and equipment for burning the body online.
On 30 April 2026, US prosecutors disclosedthat Mr. David Anthony Burk, known as “D4vd,” the famous singer,has been charged with murder, repeated child sexual abuse, and evidence tampering. The suspect knew the victim, Celeste Rivas Hernandez, since she was 11 years old, and their sexual relationship began when she was 13 and he was 18.
Prosecutors' documents state that before the murder, the girl sent messages threatening to reveal their secret relationship and ruin the singer’s life. The murder is believed to have occurred in April 2025 inside D4vd’s home in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles.
Prosecutors said David Anthony Burk, famous for viral TikTok songs like "Romantic Homicide" and "Here With Me," stabbed the girl multiple times. Afterward, the suspect purchased two chainsaws, a blue inflatable pool, a shovel, body bags, and an incineration cage using a fake account to destroy the body and evidence. They stated the girl's body was dismembered in the home garage before being hidden in the suspect’s Tesla.
Reports indicate Celeste’s decomposed body was found inside the vehicle in September 2025 after her family had reported her missing for several months. The Los Angeles police arrested D4vd earlier this month. He continues to deny all charges, with his lawyer asserting a full defense and confidence that evidence will prove his innocence.
The girl’s family issued a statement demanding justice and expressed deep sorrow over their loss.
