Middle Eastern Nations Condemn Irans Renewed Attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain

Several Middle Eastern countries have condemned Iran for launching a new wave of attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait last night, which caused dozens of injuries and at least one death.

On 3 Jun 2026 GMT+7, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Iran's attacks, stating that the assaults targeted "civilian facilities and key sites," also causing damage to diplomatic delegations.

Kuwait further described Iran's actions as "aggressive and blatant attacks" that have led to "escalated violence, increased tensions, and undermined the region's security and stability." They also strongly condemned Iran's attacks on targets in Bahrain.

The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Foreign Affairs labeled Iran's actions as "terrorist attacks" against Kuwait and Bahrain, expressing full solidarity with both countries and adding that targeting diplomatic delegations and offices clearly violates international norms and laws.

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued its strongest condemnation and opposition to Iran's brutal aggressive actions and its blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the brotherly state of Kuwait.

Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it considers these attacks as severe violations of Kuwait's and Bahrain's sovereignty, as well as breaches of the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law.

Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also criticized Iran's attacks, calling them serious violations of Bahrain's and Kuwait's sovereignty, threats to the security, stability, and territorial integrity of both countries, and clear breaches of international law and the United Nations Charter.

Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Iran's "aggressive" attacks, pointing out that Tehran's targeting of neighboring countries "reveals the regime's aggressive nature and terrorist tendencies, along with Iran's approach to undermining regional security and stability."

Additionally, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun joined in condemning Iran's attacks aimed at civilian targets, calling them "violations of the sovereignty of the two brotherly countries and breaches of international law."
