Golden-Haired Albino Buffalo Donald Trump Becomes Star Attraction at Bangladesh Zoo as Locals Flock to See It

Bangladeshi citizens flocked to see the golden-haired albino buffalo nicknamed "Donald Trump" after it was rescued and brought to a zoo in Dhaka, where it has become the zoo's star attraction.

The zoo was filled with many tourists lining up to see the golden-haired albino buffalo known as "Donald Trump." Many stood taking photos and recording videos, while some families brought children to observe the famous buffalo up close.

One visitor said the buffalo resembled Donald Trump due to its fur color and head shape, which made it especially interesting to people.

Zoo staff closely cared for the buffalo, brushing its fur and spraying water to help cool it in the intense heat. Local media reported that the "Donald Trump" nameplate once attached to its enclosure was later removed after criticism from some who felt it was inappropriate to name an animal after a prominent global figure.

Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, director of the Bangladesh National Zoo, explained that the buffalo’s albino skin resulted from a genetic mutation. The zoo plans to preserve the animal for study of its special traits and to assess potential future uses.

The male buffalo weighs over 700 kilograms and was originally kept at a farm outside Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital, before quickly gaining attention after photos and videos went viral online.

The buffalo’s distinctiveness lies in its white fur covering its body and golden fur on its forehead, which many say resembles Donald Trump's hairstyle, inspiring the widely discussed nickname.

After many people visited the farm to photograph and admire the unusual buffalo, the Bangladesh government decided to rescue it before the Eid al-Adha festival slaughter. The buffalo was then moved to the Bangladesh National Zoo in Dhaka for its safety and to accommodate the growing number of visitors.
