Peter Phillips, grandson of King Charles III of the British royal family, has married his fiancée Harriet Spurling, with many royal family members attending the ceremony.
On Saturday, 6 Jun 2026 GMT+7, Peter Phillips, grandson of King Charles III and son of Princess Anne, married Harriet Spurling, a nurse with the National Health Service (NHS), in a private ceremony at All Saints Church in the village of Kemble, Gloucestershire.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the event along with other royals, including Prince William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, Sarah and Mike Tindall, as well as Prince Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
Also present were Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, who arrived with their husbands Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, respectively.
Around the church, metal barriers were set up to organize two separate areas for the media and the public, and roads nearby were closed. Visitors cheered the King and Queen along with other royal family members as they arrived.
Cheers of “Hip Hip Hooray” erupted as the bride arrived accompanied by her three bridesmaids: Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, daughters of Phillips, and Georgina, a teenage daughter of Spurling.
Peter Phillips, aged 48, is the son of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips. He is currently 19th in line to the British throne but does not hold a princely title, as royal titles traditionally pass only through the male line of royal sons.
Phillips and Spurling began dating in 2024 after his separation from his first wife, Autumn Kelly, in 2020. They officially announced their engagement in August 2025 and chose to marry in Kemble, the village where they first met.
