Trump Vows to Attack Iran Again Over Delayed War Termination Talks

Donald Trump told the media that the U.S. will launch another attack on Iran, expressing frustration over Tehran’s slow progress in negotiating a war-ending agreement.

On Wednesday, 10 Jun 2026 GMT+7, U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters in the Oval Office at the White House that the U.S. will resume attacks on Iran after insufficient progress was made in talks to end the war.

“We are going to attack them, attack them very hard,” Trump said, implying that the incident where Iran shot down a U.S. Apache helicopter was among the reasons for a new wave of attacks.

“Considering the helicopter incident, I believe we have the right to do so,” he told reporters.

Earlier, Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the slow pace of negotiations with the Tehran government on a war-ending agreement, despite ongoing talks.

“I have been working with Iran for months... They should sign the agreement. It’s a good deal,” Trump emphasized. “They keep dragging it out, banging the table continuously. I don’t even know what they’re doing.”

Later, Trump refused to rule out attacks on civilian infrastructure, including power plants and bridges, again showing frustration that Iran has yet to sign the agreement.

“They just keep banging and banging, then say, ‘Okay, give us a few more days,’” he said. “The reason they keep banging is because it’s a very significant document.”
