Cambodia Registers Bek Anlong Durian as a Collective Trademark

Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce announced the registration of "Bek Anlong Durian" as a collective trademark, aiming to protect intellectual property, increase product value, and build confidence in both domestic and international markets.

On 30 June 2026, Cambodia's Ministry of Commerce officially registered "Bek Anlong Durian" as a Collective Mark. This marks a significant step in protecting intellectual property and enhancing the identity of Cambodian agricultural products.

The Cambodian government stated that this registration will boost the competitiveness of Bek Anlong Durian, build consumer confidence, expand market opportunities domestically and internationally, and improve the income and quality of life for farmers and entrepreneurs in the Bek Anlong community, Kampong Cham province.

Furthermore, this reflects the Cambodian government's policy to promote sustainable agricultural development, increase the value of agricultural products, and advance the recognition of high-quality Cambodian products in regional and global markets.
