Palm Beach International Airport in Florida has been officially renamed "President Donald J. Trump International Airport," with the Trump family’s private plane making the first landing after the change.
On 9 July 2026 GMT+7, the Associated Press reported that Palm Beach International Airport in Florida was officially renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport. Officials removed the old airport sign and unveiled the new sign last Thursday.
Shortly after the renaming, the Boeing 757 "Trump Force One," the Trump Organization’s private plane, became the first aircraft to land at the airport around 05:00. Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, was on board the flight.
The Trump family regularly uses this airport when traveling to Mar-a-Lago, President Trump's Palm Beach residence located nearby. Earlier this year, authorities renamed a road connecting the airport to Mar-a-Lago as Donald J. Trump Boulevard.
