Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, brought Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to meet King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House, marking their first meeting in over four years.
On 11 July 2026 GMT+7, foreign news agencies reported that Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, accompanied by their son Prince Archie, aged 7, and daughter Princess Lilibet, aged 5, visited King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House, their private residence in Gloucestershire, England.
Buckingham Palace confirmed that the meeting took place on Friday afternoon and was a “private family occasion.” It was the first time in over four years that King Charles III personally met his two grandchildren, after Harry and Meghan had not traveled to the UK together since 2022, when they attended the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
Prince Harry returned to England this week for several personal engagements, while it was previously confirmed that Meghan and their son and daughter would not participate in any public events during the visit. The family’s accommodation in England was not disclosed.
This meeting is viewed as a significant development in the British royal family’s relations, which have been strained since Harry and Meghan stepped back from senior royal duties and relocated to the United States in 2020.
