Hundreds of Spaniards gathered outside the Moroccan Embassy in Madrid to express their dissatisfaction with over 60,000 migrants crossing the border from Morocco into the city of Ceuta.

Some protesters held large signs with the word “Remigration,” a term used by several far-right European groups calling for migrants or people with migrant backgrounds to be sent back to their countries of origin, either forcibly or encouraged to return voluntarily. Additionally, some waved the red and yellow Spanish national flag, demanding the protection of Spanish identity. Spanish authorities deployed a large police presence around the Moroccan Embassy, using helicopters and drones to monitor the protest area.
The protest also targeted the socialist government of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, whose immigration policies are more open than many other European countries. Protesters accused Sánchez of 'selling out Spain to Muslims' and criticized the government for allowing the situation to escalate into an uncontrollable crisis.
The protest followed the arrival of approximately 60,000 migrants crossing into Ceuta on Thursday, causing chaos and a humanitarian crisis in this Spanish territory. The event sparked renewed debate over immigration policies in both Europe and internationally.
