Victoria Beckhams Company Turns First Profit After 18 Years in Business

Victoria Beckham's fashion and beauty business has achieved an operational profit for the first time since its founding in 2008, 18 years ago.

Accounting reports show that Victoria Beckham Holdings Ltd, where the former Spice Girls member serves as creative director, made an operating profit of £7.3 million in 2025 after many years of losses.

“We have all worked hard for a long time to reach this moment of profit and growth,” Victoria Beckham, wife of legendary former England footballer David Beckham, told the Financial Times, a UK business publication.

“We have always been open about the challenges our business faced, but now we have recovered and are growing at a steady pace. After 20 years, people no longer see my brand as just a celebrity label.”

In 2025, a Netflix documentary chronicled Victoria's efforts to build her fashion brand and reach profitability. The series notably helped boost sales, especially with “strong momentum in denim and jersey products.”

The accounting report notes that the fashion division experienced strong double-digit growth in 2025, while the beauty business, launched in 2019, “delivered some of its strongest results yet.”

A key driver was the popularity of the Foundation Drops makeup product, which had a waiting list exceeding 25,000 orders, doubling the size of the skincare line.

The Netflix documentary showed the former pop star discussing her struggle to overcome skepticism and prove herself as a designer and entrepreneur, before facing financial difficulties that left the company tens of millions of pounds in the red.

The business received support from her husband, Sir David Beckham, who said on the show, “When she came to me and said, ‘Can you lend me some money? We need more funds, the business needs more money,’ that was difficult for both of us because I didn’t have unlimited funds to keep supporting it.”

Victoria said, “If he hadn’t believed in me, I wouldn’t have a business today.”

In 2017, Victoria secured £30 million in funding by selling 30% of the company to NEO Investment Partners, which began a major restructuring process.

David Belhassen from NEO explained that the restructuring involved addressing expenses Victoria admitted were “incredibly wasteful,” including “shipping chairs across the world from one side to the other” and spending “£70,000 a year on office plants.”

In a statement on Monday, David Belhassen, chairman of Victoria Beckham Holdings, said, “With mutually reinforcing growth engines in fashion and beauty, a steadily expanding international customer base, and a clear operational model, the business is well positioned for profitable growth in the next phase.”

CEO Sybil Derrigarrère Lunel said, “Achieving our first operational profit is a major milestone for Victoria Beckham and reflects years of disciplined work and strategic investment.”

“Delivering this result amid a challenging luxury goods market and broader economic difficulties makes this success an even greater milestone for our business.”
