On 26 Oct 2026 GMT+7, international news agencies reported that famous rapper Nicki Minaj declared her support for U.S. President Donald Trump and the Republican Party during a rally in Port Huron, Michigan, last Sunday.
During the campaign, Trump continued to attack Abdul El-Sayed, a Democratic Senate candidate, questioning the loyalty of the Muslim candidate to the United States and repeatedly trying to link him to extremist ideologies. Trump has previously criticized El-Sayed's religion throughout the campaign, claiming that his past statements and background reflect sympathy toward extremist groups. El-Sayed has denied these allegations and condemned Trump's attacks.
El-Sayed, who previously worked in public health, affirmed his patriotism and denied any affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamic organization with networks in multiple countries, some branches of which the U.S. government has designated as terrorist organizations.
