Iranian state television released a survival guide video for a nuclear attack after a prominent U.S. TV host claimed the Trump administration might launch a nuclear strike against Iran within days.
On Tuesday, 3 Nov 2026 GMT+7, Iranian government TV aired an 8-minute AI-generated video advising citizens on how to survive a nuclear attack on Iran, including how to avoid the blast flash and remove contaminants before seeking shelter.
The video advises Iranians not to look at the explosion's flash, to quickly find shelter, stay away from windows and exterior walls, then close all doors and windows and shut off ventilation systems. People should remove outer clothing and seal it in airtight containers.
Next steps include bathing with warm water and soap, then surviving by drinking bottled water and eating packaged food for the next 24 hours.
Iran's recent actions come amid reports that the U.S. is under Israeli pressure to use nuclear weapons against Iran.
Previously, American political commentator and TV host Tucker Carlson claimed the Trump administration might launch a nuclear attack on Iran within just a few days.
In a lengthy statement shared on social media, Carlson said Trump faces pressure from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who recently lost his parliamentary majority after last week's general election.
"The target is Pickax Mountain in central Iran, which Israeli intelligence claims Iran has resumed nuclear enhancement activities. No conventional weapons in the U.S. arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of granite to destroy the tunnel believed to be used for nuclear enhancement," Carlson said.
At the start of the Iranian video, footage shows a mountain resembling Pickax Mountain in central Iran being heavily bombed.
Meanwhile, observers following the situation said, "The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has pushed hard on this; 'BB' (Netanyahu's nickname) calls Trump about this every day."
Carlson noted Netanyahu is "cornered" and unable to form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics to negotiate with other parties. "Otherwise, he faces disgrace, investigation, and possibly prison. Netanyahu needs to cling to Trump; he wants this war."
Carlson's claims sparked intense online debate, even though analysts still view the chance of Trump using nuclear weapons against Iran as very low.
