Nvidia Launches Independent Investigation into CEO Jensen Huangs Affair with Woman Suspected of Being Chinese Spy

Nvidia has launched an independent investigation into reports that its CEO, Jensen Huang, had an affair with a Chinese woman suspected by U.S. intelligence agencies to be a Chinese spy.

On Sunday, 8 Nov 2026 GMT+7, Nvidia, a major U.S. technology company, officially announced it had begun an independent investigation after reports surfaced that CEO Jensen Huang had a romantic relationship with a person suspected of being a Chinese spy.

Nvidia stated that its board of directors sees no reason to believe that company secrets or national security have been compromised by this incident, adding that the CEO remains committed to leading the company forward.

Jensen Huang issued a statement admitting, “I was unfaithful to my wife. My actions have hurt her and our children. There is no excuse for what I did. I deeply regret it.”

“Regarding national security concerns raised in the news reports, Nvidia’s board has initiated an independent investigation. I support this inquiry fully and will cooperate completely,” he added.

“I love my country and our company. I am committed to protecting Nvidia and supporting U.S. national security. I am proud and grateful to be an American,” Jensen Huang said, also stating he will take responsibility for all that has occurred.

According to The New York Times, U.S. intelligence officials believe Alice Huang, a Chinese businesswoman closely connected to Jensen Huang, is an operative of China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS).

The New York Times reported, citing anonymous sources, that U.S. intelligence agencies have been monitoring Alice Huang and observed communications between her and an American citizen later identified as Jensen Huang.

However, it remains unclear whether Alice Huang, also known as Huang Le, passed any information to the Chinese government, the value of such information, or when she began gathering intelligence.

Chinese authorities have denied the allegations, calling the claims of espionage targeting Nvidia’s CEO “baseless speculation.”
