BorKorSor forecasts that during the New Year period from 26 December 2025 to 5 January 2026, a total of 11 days, passenger numbers will rise approximately 10% over the 2025 holiday. For outbound trips from 26 to 30 December 2025, daily passengers are expected between 120,000 and 180,000, peaking at 180,000 on 30 December. Daily bus trips (company and partner buses) will total 5,000. For return trips from 3 to 5 January 2026, around 100,000 passengers per day are expected, with 4,800 bus trips daily. Additionally, 1,200 extra or non-regular buses (license plate series 30) will be deployed to ensure sufficient service and prevent passenger backlog.
Passengers with advance BorKorSor tickets for North and Northeastern (Isan) routes departing at 18:00 or later from 26 to 30 December 2025 are requested to board at Bangkok Apivath Bangsue Central Station, Gate 2. Passengers can conveniently reach this station by Blue Line and Red Line metro trains, buses, and taxis for quick and easy boarding, easing congestion at the bus terminal. Passengers are advised to check the "boarding point" indicated on their tickets and allow at least one hour to arrive before departure to ensure a smooth and timely journey.
