The Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) clarified that reports about using the Kaset Tunnel and Ngamwongwan Road as expressways are incomplete and based on preliminary studies. More comprehensive studies are needed. This approval is only an initial principle endorsement from the Transport Coordination Committee (TCC).
Importantly, the public can still use the section from Kaset Tunnel to Klong Prem Prison free of charge, with no toll fees collected.
EXAT will provide detailed explanations about this matter to the public as soon as possible.
