Train Service Suspended Between Aranyaprathet and Ban Klong Luk Border Due to Unrest at Thailand-Cambodia Border

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) announces a temporary suspension of ordinary trains No. 275/276 and 279/280 specifically on the Aranyaprathet – Ban Klong Luk border checkpoint section until further notice.

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has announced a temporary suspension of ordinary trains No. 275/276 and 279/280 on the Aranyaprathet – Ban Klong Luk border checkpoint route, effective immediately until further notice. This follows a warning from Sakaeo province advising residents in the Thai-Cambodia border areas—including Ta Phraya, Khok Sung, Aranyaprathet, and Khlong Hat districts—to evacuate to temporary shelters or safe zones due to unrest along the border.

For the safety of passengers and operational reasons, the SRT has adjusted train services on this route, designating Aranyaprathet station as the temporary terminus as follows.

1. Ordinary train No. 275/276, which previously ran between Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) and Ban Klong Luk border checkpoint, will now run only between Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) and Aranyaprathet.

2. Ordinary train No. 279/280, which previously ran between Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) and Ban Klong Luk border checkpoint, will now run only between Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) and Aranyaprathet.

The SRT apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this situation. Passengers are advised to check train schedules before planning their trips through SRT’s public relations channels and can monitor train times and locations in real-time athttps://ttsview.railway.co.th/v3/floodingNST/or contact the Customer Service Center at 1690, available 24 hours a day.
