Dr. Bunnada Supiyapan, Labor Ministry spokesperson, stated that, following the policy of Minister Trinuch Thienthong, who places great importance on improving the quality of life of workers in health, safety, and welfare, she was assigned to preside over this project launch. The event coincides with 5 December, the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, to honor his royal grace and promote health and disease prevention among insured persons. Meanwhile, Ms. Malakalan Ho Prathum, Inspector General of the Social Security Office, reported that the "Social Security Cares for Insured Persons" project aims to promote health knowledge and provide basic health check-ups to insured persons in six target provinces: Chiang Mai, Chonburi, Nong Khai, Samut Prakan, as well as Bangkok, where activities were held on 4 December 2025, and Sa Kaeo, where activities are scheduled for 6 December 2025. This project is part of efforts to improve insured persons’ access to health services, making them more convenient, swift, and effective. The event includes:

1. Fourteen proactive health screening tests.

2. Dental services via a mobile dental clinic at workplaces to facilitate insured persons.

3. Health promotion and insured persons' welfare services, such as lung cancer screening using chest X-rays combined with artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

4. Social Security services and health education activities supported by related partner agencies.

“The Social Security Office confirms its commitment to continuously develop proactive services and improve the quality of care for insured persons, ensuring all Thai workers receive appropriate protection, good health, and a stable quality of life.” Ms. Malakalan concluded.
