Urgent: Only 4 days left for Khon La Khrueng Plus vendors to quickly upgrade their knowledge through DBD Academy and receive a bonus of up to 2,000 baht as a New Year's gift.

The Department of Business Development (DBD) invites Tung Ngern vendors participating in the “Khon La Khrueng Plus” program who have not yet upskilled or reskilled to hurry—only 4 days remain! There is a chance to receive special government support of up to 2,000 baht. Currently, over 90,000 participants have joined with excellent feedback. The courses are easy to follow and practical. Hurry to complete by 19 Dec 2025 to receive the funds in time for the New Year celebrations.

Mr. Poornpong Nainapakorn, Director-General of the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, revealed that the Upskill and Reskill program for vendors in the Khon La Khrueng Plus project is now in its “final stretch,” with only 4 days left to join the online courses (deadline 19 Dec 2025). The department urges entrepreneurs who have not registered or have not completed the required courses to act quickly to avoid missing out on the valuable dual benefits.

Benefit 1: Receive a bonus of up to 2,000 baht. Those who complete the course and meet criteria will receive government support equal to up to 20% of their sales (maximum 2,000 baht).

Benefit 2: Gain free knowledge to grow your business. Learn modern business skills anytime, anywhere through the DBD Academy platform. This is a key objective to help entrepreneurs upskill.

Director-General Poornpong added that the Upskill/Reskill program has been well received, with 93,881 entrepreneurs registered across all channels as of 15 Dec 2025, out of 400,000 available spots. There are still openings for those who have not yet joined, and the department encourages quick registration and course completion in this final phase to receive up to 2,000 baht government support.

Regarding the DBD Academy platform, over 31,969 vendors have registered for training, with 19,465 already completing courses and qualifying for the benefit. Feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many saying, “The courses are excellent, useful, and truly applicable to managing their stores.” Many have taken more than the minimum required courses to deepen their knowledge and apply it to business management, also encouraging fellow vendors to join.

The department has selected 5 key courses that are easy to complete, fast, and practical, designed to meet the needs of modern vendors, including:

1) Starting a Business for New SMEs

2) How AI is Changing Business: Driving Growth for Thai SMEs

3) The Path to Success in the Restaurant Business

4) E-Commerce Marketing

and 5) Digital Marketing, covering store and product management, digital marketing, and the use of AI technology to help grow business, increase income, reduce costs, and improve technology skills.

The simple condition: any vendor registered with the Tung Ngern app under the Khon La Khrueng Plus project can visit dbdacademy.dbd.go.th, choose at least one course, complete the pre- and post-learning tests, and finish by 19 Dec 2025.
