Mr. Attawit Rakjamroon, President of the Transport Company Limited (BKS), stated that for the upcoming New Year festival of 2026, BKS anticipates a large number of people traveling back to their hometowns for tourism and celebrations.
Passengers who have booked BKS tickets in advance for northern and northeastern (Isan) routes with departures from 6 p.m. onward from 26 to 30 December 2025 are advised to board their buses at Krungthep Aphiwat Central Terminal, Gate 2. Passengers can conveniently reach the terminal via the Blue Line and Red Line MRT trains, buses, or taxis, enabling fast and easy boarding while reducing congestion at the traditional bus stations. Passengers are also recommended to check the “boarding point” indicated on their tickets and allow at least one hour for travel to the terminal to ensure smooth and timely departures.
For passengers without advance bookings, walk-in ticket purchases on the day of travel are available, with boarding at the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak) or Mo Chit 2 stations.
