
OTOP CITY 2025, the nation's grand OTOP product fair organized by the Ministry of Interior and the Community Development Department from 20 to 28 December 2025 GMT+7, closed with a grand and impressive finale. Sales topped 868 million baht, an increase of over 20% from the previous year, reaffirming the strength of Thai communities and the success of grassroots economic development.
On 28 December 2025 GMT+7 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, along with Ms. Thannon Niramis, Chairwoman of the Spouses of Cabinet Members and Honorary Advisor of the Ministry of Interior Housewives Association, toured OTOP City 2025 to support OTOP entrepreneurs. They were joined by Ms. Sasithorn Kittitharakul, Deputy Minister of Interior; Ms. Traisuli Traisornkul, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister; Mrs. Jinnarat Sampanrat, President of the Ministry of Interior Housewives Association; Mr. Siam Sirimongkol, Director-General of the Community Development Department; Ms. Orjira Sirimongkol, Chairwoman of the Community Development Housewives Club; and other executives from the Community Development Department.
Throughout the event, a lively atmosphere prevailed with shoppers from both Thailand and abroad, driving sales to surpass the target at 868 million baht. The event attracted a total of 228,002 visitors, clearly demonstrating tangible success in advancing grassroots economic development. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the public for supporting OTOP products, emphasizing that every purchase helps generate income, create jobs, and encourage entrepreneurs throughout communities nationwide.
OTOP CITY 2025 stands as further proof of the strength of Thai communities, capable of driving steady growth in the grassroots economy and serving as a vital force in improving citizens' quality of life in line with government policies.
