
National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) has been tasked by the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) to manage and provide telecommunications services for the 2026 general election of Members of Parliament (MPs) and the referendum, supporting the ECT’s operations to be efficient, transparent, and verifiable throughout.
NT has installed the necessary systems and communication equipment to support the registration of constituency MPs covering 400 constituencies in all 77 provinces before the registration date on 27 December 2025, and for party list MP registration before 28 December 2025 at the Vayupak Hall, 4th Floor, Centara Life Government Center Hotel, Laksi District, Bangkok. Installations also cover 1,151 election coordination centers at district offices nationwide.
Colonel Sanpachai Huwanan, President and CEO of National Telecom Public Company Limited, stated that NT prioritizes supporting government missions, especially elections which are a vital democratic process. NT has prepared its network infrastructure, communication systems, and personnel to ensure the MP registration process runs smoothly, securely, and with the capability to promptly resolve issues throughout the operation.
The systems and services NT supports in this mission include landline telephone, internet with WiFi, SMS, and cloud-based platforms, along with installations of equipment such as telephones, computers, printers, scanners, photocopiers, fax machines, and televisions. NT has also established a cyber threat monitoring center and assigned staff at each election constituency to promptly handle system and equipment issues, ensuring communication reliability throughout the process.
