Social Security Office Upgrades to SSO Core System to Enhance Services

Ms. Kanjana Phoolkaew, Secretary-General of the Social Security Office, revealed that the office is advancing a new service system to enhance efficiency, speed, and accuracy in serving employers and insured persons under all categories. This upgrade involves moving to the modern central SSO Core system, which supports comprehensive services. During the transition period from 20 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, the Social Security Office will continue to provide services to employers, insured persons, and the public without interruption. Appropriate service channels have been prepared to facilitate smooth communication and ensure insured persons’ rights are not affected.

Ms. Kanjana Phoolkaew, Secretary-General of the SSO, emphasized that insured persons under Sections 33 and 39, as well as employers, can primarily use online services for registration, data reporting, and form submissions through platforms such as e-Service, e-Self Service, and the SSO Plus application. If it is necessary to contact the Social Security Office directly, staff are ready to accept requests and issue receipts to proceed with processing once the system is fully operational.

The Secretary-General added that for contribution payments, insured persons and employers can continue to make payments as usual through channels designated by the office, such as banks, service counters, and various applications, to provide convenience and reduce administrative time.

Regarding medical services and benefit claims, insured persons under all sections will continue to receive their rights as normal. They can submit requests online, by mail, or in person at the Social Security Office branches in Bangkok, provinces, and nationwide. The office has instructed staff to closely assist and facilitate the public to prevent any inconvenience or loss of rights.

The Social Security Office expressed gratitude to employers and insured persons for their cooperation and understanding during this transition. Ms. Kanjana affirmed the commitment and confidence in developing the SSO Core system as the foundation for a new era of social security services focusing on convenience, speed, and meeting the needs of employers, insured persons, and the public with modern, more efficient services.
