
Social Security now allows insured persons under Sections 33 and 39 to change their designated hospitals for 2026 from today until 31 March 2026 through four easy online channels.
Ms. Kanjana Poongkaew, Secretary-General of the Social Security Office, said that the Social Security Office has set the period for insured persons under Sections 33 and 39 to change their designated hospitals for 2026 from 16 December 2025 to 31 March 2026. This is to facilitate insured persons in choosing hospitals that suit their medical needs. The Social Security Office has arranged service channels for different periods as follows.
1. From 16 to 19 December 2025, insured persons can submit the medical service hospital selection form (SSO 9-02) in person at Social Security offices nationwide to request a hospital change.
2. From 20 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, the Social Security Office will be transferring data to support the new SSO Core system, a new information service platform. Therefore, cooperation is requested to use the following four electronic channels:

3. From 5 January 2026 onward, insured persons may submit hospital change requests either online or in person at Social Security offices in Bangkok, provinces, or branches convenient to them.
Ms. Kanjana added that to ensure convenience in accessing medical services, the chosen hospital should be located in the province where the insured works or resides for easy and efficient service. Insured persons can check the list of hospitals in the Social Security system through their employers or on the Social Security Office website www.sso.go.th, and can also inquire at the 24-hour Social Security hotline 1506. For Section 33 insured persons, the Social Security Office will notify hospital change results via their employers. Section 39 insured persons will receive SMS notifications on their registered phone numbers to ensure timely and complete information.
