
"BKS" invites the public to book tickets in advance to travel for voting on 8 Feb 2026, fully preparing buses, staff, and bus terminals to provide maximum convenience and safety.
19 Jan 2026 GMT+7 Mr. Atthawit Rakjamroon, President of The Transport Company Limited (BKS) Revealed that preparations have been made to facilitate citizens traveling to vote for the House of Representatives on Sunday, 8 February 2026. BKS anticipates passengers departing from Bangkok to provinces nationwide will begin traveling on 6–7 February 2026, with an average of 130,000 passengers daily for round trips, using about 7,000 bus trips per day (including BKS and partner buses). For return trips on 8–9 February 2026, an average of 100,000 passengers per day is expected, using about 6,000 bus trips daily.
To prevent passenger backlog, BKS has requested cooperation from operators to deploy approximately 350 non-scheduled buses (with registration starting with 30) as additional service on various routes.

Additionally, BKS has instructed all agencies overseeing buses, bus terminals, and staff to follow safety measures such as checking bus readiness and equipment before service. Drivers must have sufficient rest, undergo drug testing, maintain zero alcohol levels, and strictly comply with traffic laws to ensure safety and build public confidence in using public transport.
