Colonel Sanphachai Huwanan, Chief Executive Officer of National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT), welcomed Mr. Narong Rakroi, Election Commissioner, and his delegation, leading them on a tour of the Cybersecurity Monitoring and Protection Center. This center supports the mission for the 2026 House of Representatives election and referendum, located in the meeting room on the 4th floor of Building 20 at the Chaeng Wattana office.
NT was assigned by the Office of the Election Commission (EC) to establish the Cybersecurity Monitoring and Protection Center to support the EC's mission and prepare for the 2026 election. The goal is to ensure the election is transparent, accurate, and trustworthy. NT is ready to monitor, inspect, and prevent cyber threats covering network services, communications, and related information technology systems, enabling the EC to effectively oversee and set guidelines for cybersecurity protection and security.
The center employs internationally standardized cybersecurity technology to detect, analyze, and respond to anomalies that could impact the security of critical data and systems throughout the 24-hour election period.
