
Commerce Ministry reveals product sales results."Thai Help Thai"at district offices nationwide on two occasions (1 and 8 May 2026), with citizens purchasing goods exceeding 60 million baht.
The Ministry of Commerce revealed that the "Thai Help Thai" product sales at district offices nationwide on 1 and 8 May 2026 saw citizens purchasing goods totaling over 60.85 million baht, with more than 500,000 people participating. This reflects the government's success in distributing quality goods at affordable prices to people across the country.
Mr. Poonphong Nainapakorn, Director-General of the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, stated that after Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Supachai Sutthampan jointly kicked off the sales of"Thai Help Thai"at district offices nationwide throughout May 2026, beginning 1 May 2026 in Bangyai District, Nonthaburi Province, to help people in rural areas access affordable products more conveniently, easing the rising cost of living. This marks the first time district offices nationwide have been used as distribution points for goods to the public.
Director-General Poonphong added that the sales results of"Thai Help Thai"at 878 district offices nationwide over two days (Friday 1 and Friday 8 May 2026) showed total consumer spending of 60,854,290.45 baht, broken down as: 1) Friday, 1 May 2026, consumer spending was33,738,292.45 baht.2) Friday, 8 May 2026, consumer spending was 27,115,998 baht.
During the first round (Friday, 1 May 2026), 283,894 people participated in purchasing, with a total of 12,491 stores involved, including *1,245 modern wholesale and retail stores *5,749 OTOP shops *5,497 community shops. The top five provinces with highest "Thai Help Thai" sales were:"Thai Help Thai"1. Surin Province - 1,192,891 baht 2. Nakhon Ratchasima Province - 1,167,683 baht 3. Chiang Mai Province - 1,057,660 baht 4. Khon Kaen Province - 1,056,944 baht 5. Yala Province - 836,991 baht. The top five districts with highest "Thai Help Thai" sales were:"Thai Help Thai"1. Kabang District, Yala Province - 468,956 baht 2. Bangyai District, Nonthaburi Province - 277,000 baht 3. Mueang Ratchaburi District, Ratchaburi Province - 269,870 baht 4. Chom Phra District, Surin Province - 228,207 baht 5. Somdet District, Kalasin Province - 210,934 baht.

During the second round (Friday, 8 May 2026), 217,619 people participated, with 9,721 stores involved, including *1,210 modern wholesale and retail stores *4,506 OTOP shops *4,005 community shops. The top five provinces with highest sales were:Thai Help Thai1. Surin Province - 1,047,798 baht 2. Nakhon Ratchasima Province - 937,358 baht 3. Chiang Mai Province - 880,018 baht 4. Chonburi Province - 833,726 baht 5. Ratchaburi Province - 741,810 baht. The top five districts with highest sales were:"Thai Help Thai"1. Mueang Saraburi District, Saraburi Province - 348,227 baht 2. Mueang Ratchaburi District, Ratchaburi Province - 280,019 baht 3. Mueang Yala District, Yala Province - 266,846 baht 4. Mueang Chaiyaphum District, Chaiyaphum Province - 257,144 baht 5. Mueang Phuket District, Phuket Province - 255,700 baht.

Citizens in all regions can purchase "Thai Help Thai" productsat district offices nationwide every Friday throughout May 2026, with three remaining rounds on Fridays 15, 22, and 29 May 2026, from 08:30 to 16:30. The public is invited to participate and buy"Thai Help Thai"products at all 878 district offices nationwide at prices discounted up to 58%, below market prices. Selected consumer goods come from more than 3,000 items from modern wholesale and retail stores (Modern Trade), promotional local wholesale and retail stores, as well as OTOP and community products such as food, processed agricultural goods, clothing, and ready-to-eat items.Additionally, "Thai Help Thai" products can be purchased at modern wholesale and retail stores (Modern Trade) such as TOPs, BigC, Lotus’s, Makro, CJ, Go Wholesale, and local wholesale and retail stores near you, to promote equal access and fair opportunities to buy quality goods at affordable prices, aligning with the government’s policy emphasizing the balance of"sellers surviving and buyers thriving."The government supports this through various measures, including linking sales channels and organizing promotional activities to reach all areas nationwide by distributing products to regions, communities, and local stores, ensuring benefits reach people everywhere.
Currently, "Thai Help Thai" has become a key integrated model involving government, private sector, and local authorities, not only helping reduce expenses and living costs for people but also creating trade opportunities for Thai SME producers to grow alongside this cooperation.
