Captain Charoenporn Charoentham, the company's managing director, stated the main cause is the diesel price increase to 41.49 baht per liter on 14 May 2026.
Due to this situation, the company must adjust fares on all types of boats. The increase is 1 baht above the previous rates. This change takes effect from Monday, 25 May 2026, reflecting the impact of global oil price volatility directly affecting public transport.
The new fare rates effective 25 May 2026 are categorized by boat type and route as follows.
- Route Nonthaburi – Sathorn adjusts from 23 baht to 24 baht.
- Route Pak Kret – Sathorn adjusts from 35 baht to 36 baht.
Captain Charoenporn added that if diesel prices decrease in the future, the company is ready to consider lowering fares to ease living costs for the public.
