Mr. Atthawit Rakjamroon, President of The Transport Company Limited (BKS), revealed that the company has joined the "Thai Help Thai Plus" program where the government supports 60% of the cost while citizens pay 40%, following government and Ministry of Transport policies to facilitate travel, ease living expenses for the public using public buses, and stimulate the domestic economy.
Those wishing to use the "Thai Help Thai Plus" program to pay for BKS bus tickets should be aware of the following conditions and details:
1. The benefit can be used via the "Paotang" application to purchase BKS bus tickets from 1 June to 30 September 2026, a period of four months, between 06:00 and 23:00 at 139 BKS ticket counters nationwide.
2. Tickets can be purchased up to the state-supported amount of 200 baht per day. If the fare exceeds this amount, passengers must pay the difference in cash or via the Paotang app.
3. Tickets are available for all classes and all routes.
4. This can be combined with BKS Member discounts of 5–10% according to company conditions.
5. Tickets purchased cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
6. If the ticket buyer is not the traveler, the traveler's name and ID card number must be provided before issuing the ticket.
