This measure aims to ease travel for the public during the holiday, reduce living costs, and help alleviate traffic congestion at toll booths.

The annual public holiday toll waiver announcement is part of implementing government and Ministry of Transport policies, as outlined in the amended concession agreement among EXAT, Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), and North Bangkok Expressway Company Limited (NECL), to return benefits and enhance convenience for road users on important Thai holidays.
EXAT requests expressway users to drive carefully under the concept “Drive safely, do not drive against traffic for safety.” This is to prevent accidents on the expressways.
