Closing Ceremony of TTM+ 2026 in Pattaya: TAT Hands Over Hosting to Khon Kaen for 2027

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) successfully concluded TTM+ 2026 in Pattaya, expressing gratitude to all sectors involved in stimulating the tourism economy, and officially handed over the flag to Khon Kaen province to prepare as the host of the global event in 2027.

Mr. Chaiporn Paephirumrat, Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province; Mr. Kiattisak Sriwongchai, Pattaya City Clerk; and Mr. Wittaya Kunplome, President of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, along with executives from Pattaya's tourism businesses jointly hosted the event. The event, "Pattaya Night: Beyond the Wave," was held at Columbia Pictures Aquaverse in Pattaya, Chonburi Province. This was organized as a welcome and thank-you to international tourism operators from around the world attending Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2026 (TTM+), held by TAT from 9-11 June 2026 at the Nongnuch International Convention and Exhibition Center in Pattaya, Chonburi. The event also featured the ceremonial handover of the TTM+ hosting flag to Khon Kaen province, which will host the event next year.

Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of TAT, expressed gratitude to the partners who organized the reception filled with impressive activities and performances. She noted it was an important networking reception connecting Thailand’s tourism business sector with global operators, a key driver for sustainable growth of Thailand’s tourism industry. She also congratulated Khon Kaen province on becoming the host for Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2027, presenting the hosting flag to Khon Kaen’s delegation, including Mr. Yuttana Phothivihok, Deputy Governor of Khon Kaen; Mr. Phoppon Kasemsan Na Ayutthaya, Chairman of Khon Kaen Industry Council; Mr. Jakkrit Siripanich, Chairman of Khon Kaen Chamber of Commerce; and Dr. Natthiya Tantsuk, President of Khon Kaen Tourism and MICE Association.



TTM+ 2026 showcased the potential of Pattaya and Chonburi Province as quality destinations in Thailand and served as a crucial platform for building international tourism business networks. It also passed inspiration and opportunities to Khon Kaen, the next TTM+ 2027 host, ready to continue its role as a regional hub for tourism business negotiations and to help drive sustainable growth of Thailand’s tourism industry in the future.
