The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is investing heavily in a major event"ULTRAMAN HERO RUN 2026"to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the famous heroGovernor Thapaneepromotes sports tourism by combining sports with world-class entertainment, organizing three full events across Thailand. The license holders respond actively by bringing Japanese hero characters and exclusive limited-edition items to excite fans across all generations.
Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibul, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) revealed the overall plan for"ULTRAMAN HERO RUN 2026"saying that TAT officially supports this Ultraman running event to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Ultraman, a legendary hero beloved worldwide. The goal is to deliver a unique experience combining sports, tourism, and world-class entertainment to Ultraman fans of every generation through a mission-style competition held at three venues across Thailand.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nithi Phattanaphakdee, Vice Chairman of Fun Entertainment Co., Ltd. as the official organizer licensed by TSUBURAYA PRODUCTIONS CO., LTD. of Japan, said this year's event aims to be more than just a race—it is a celebration space inviting children, youth, families, runners, and fans to create shared memories under the Hero Mission concept, inspired by Showa era Ultraman (the origin of the hero legend). A key highlight is the appearance of ULTRAMAN, ULTRASEVEN, and KAIJU KANEGON, who will come directly from Japan to bring excitement and celebrate closely with Thai fans, conveying values of courage, hope, and perseverance.
At the same time, Mr. Kavin Rojrattanawanich, New Business Development Manager of Dream Express (DEX) Co., Ltd. the license representative of Ultraman in Thailand, said the organizers aim to fully capture the Ultraman spirit in every element, atmosphere, and activity so fans feel as if they are stepping into Ultraman’s world. Collectors should not miss the limited edition Race Pack inspired by Showa era Ultraman, featuring designs on running shirts, medals, and souvenirs—all officially licensed from Japan and produced exclusively for event participants to serve as valuable keepsakes commemorating the 60th anniversary.
