On 5 Aug 2026, Mr. Songpol Chiwapanyarot, Director of Government Savings Bank, announced the launch of the 'GSB Top-Up Liquidity Boost' loan totaling 2 billion baht. This loan aims to support the bank’s SME business loan customers by providing working capital to cover operating expenses for up to 12 months, with repayment terms up to 10 years. The loan amount can reach up to 100% of the appraised collateral value to inject fresh capital, ensuring the business has sufficient liquidity to sustain operations, cover necessary expenses, and maintain employment during volatile economic conditions. This measure supports SMEs in overcoming challenges with stability.

SME entrepreneurs are a crucial foundation of Thailand's economy. Government Savings Bank, as a state financial institution, has continuously implemented low-interest loan programs (Soft Loans) and liquidity support loans to reduce financial burdens on small entrepreneurs and help sustain employment levels in the labor market.
SME entrepreneurs who meet the criteria and need capital to improve business liquidity can apply for this loan from now until 30 Dec 2026 at any GSB branch nationwide.
