The Department of Internal Trade invites shoppers to explore quality products from farmers nationwide at Farm Outlet Market 2026, featuring selected agricultural goods, fresh fruits, and community products delivered directly to consumers. The event expects to distribute income to grassroots communities totaling no less than 20 million baht.
Mr. Jirawut Suwanart, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce, said the Farm Outlet Market 2026 is an activity aimed at expanding sales channels for farmers and community entrepreneurs. It connects produce from production areas directly to markets and consumers by bringing quality agricultural products from Farm Outlet centers, promoted and developed by the Department, to shopping malls, making agricultural and community products more accessible to the public.
Currently, the Department of Internal Trade supports 49 community agricultural product centers, or Farm Outlets, in 34 provinces nationwide. These centers serve as key mechanisms to collect and link agricultural products, processed agricultural goods, and community products to the market.
This event is organized with collaboration from partners, especially Central Pattana Public Company Limited, which provides space for farmers and Farm Outlet entrepreneurs to sell their products directly to urban consumers.
The event’s highlights include a rich selection of quality goods from farmers and communities, such as fresh agricultural products, safe vegetables, seasonal fruits, processed foods, and community products. Examples include pork sausage and Chinese sausage from Farm Hug P. in Ubon Ratchathani, salad greens and mushroom fermented pork from Uncle Krai’s Garden in Nakhon Ratchasima, and fresh vegetables from Hua Plee Market in Saraburi, alongside agricultural products and goods from production areas nationwide.
Fruit enthusiasts should not miss this event, as the Department has gathered fresh fruits from various production areas, including mangosteen from Nakhon Si Thammarat, durian from Chumphon, and longan from Chiang Mai, allowing the public to select quality fruits directly from producers. Free fruit tasting activities are also offered so consumers can experience the taste and quality of Thai fruits.
Additionally, the event features activities that invite the public to learn and enjoy Thai agricultural products, including workshops on making fruit jams and luk chup (fruit-shaped mung bean desserts). Special activities for fruit purchasers include free DIY fruit stir-fried ice cream sessions, creating new experiences in fruit consumption and adding value to Thai agricultural products.
Mr. Jirawut said the event is not just a marketplace but also a platform linking farmers, community entrepreneurs, and consumers. The public can purchase agricultural and community products directly from producers and production areas promoted by the Department, while farmers and entrepreneurs gain better market and consumer access. This aligns with the policy of Ms. Supachai Suthamphan, Minister of Commerce, who aims to support Thai product consumption, promote agricultural and community products, and strengthen income and resilience in the grassroots economy.
"Farm Outlet Market 2026 is another channel to raise awareness of the quality of Thai agricultural products, increase market opportunities for farmers and community enterprises, and make it easier for consumers to access quality goods from production areas nationwide. It is expected that throughout the event, sales value and income distribution to the grassroots economy will total no less than 20 million baht. Every purchase not only brings quality products home but also contributes income back to Thai farmers and communities," he said.
The Farm Outlet Market 2026 is held twice: the first at Central Pinklao from 13 to 19 August 2026, and the second at Central Rama 9 from 27 August to 3 September 2026. The event opens daily from 10:00 to 21:00, featuring activities, special privileges, and chances to win cash vouchers to use during the event.
Ms. Nareerach Uthaisangkul, a member of the Farm Outlet at Hua Plee Market in Saraburi and a participating farmer, expressed gratitude to the Department of Internal Trade for supporting the Farm Outlet project and providing space for farmers to sell their products. She said Farm Outlet serves as a channel to collect and link agricultural products from communities to the market.
Having opportunities to sell products in department stores or similar events helps farmers reach wider customer groups, sell products at fair prices, and increase income. Meanwhile, consumers can buy quality products directly from farmers, benefiting both producers and buyers.
"The Department of Internal Trade invites the public, families, health-conscious individuals, agricultural product enthusiasts, and those seeking local specialties and quality community products to join Farm Outlet Market 2026. It is a chance to support farmers and community entrepreneurs while experiencing quality Thai agricultural products from production areas nationwide."
